Know the signs

Six signs your air needs help

  • Dust returns within a day or two of cleaning
  • Allergies or asthma act up more indoors than out
  • Musty or stale smells when the system runs
  • Visible dust puffing from supply vents
  • Wildfire smoke smell lingers inside during fire season
  • Your filters turn gray within weeks
  • Catch any of these early and the fix is usually small. Wait, and it becomes an emergency. Either way, one call and you're AllSet.

    What's included

Air quality services we handle every day

    Duct cleaning

A deep mechanical cleaning of your supply and return ducts, removing years of dust, dander and debris. Included with our Signature installs.

    High-efficiency filtration

Media filters that capture what a basic 1-inch filter misses, without choking your system's airflow.

    Air purification

Whole-home purification that targets smoke particles, allergens, viruses and odors at the system level.

    Humidity control

Balanced humidity for dry Tri-Cities winters, protecting wood floors, sinuses and static-shocked kids.

    Duct sealing

Leaky ducts waste conditioned air into your crawl space. Sealing them lowers bills and evens out room temperatures.

    Ventilation upgrades

Fresh-air strategies that swap out stale indoor air without sacrificing comfort or efficiency.

An AllSet Home technician installing a ductless mini-split unit, working carefully around a fully stocked tool wall
    Careful work, every visit.
    Who shows up

    The same crew, every visit

Air quality work means someone is in your home and around your family's ductwork, so we send background-checked AllSet technicians in a fully stocked, marked van, never a stranger in an unmarked truck. You'll get your tech's name and photo before they knock.

    Good to know

    Questions homeowners ask us

How often should ducts be cleaned?
Every 3 to 5 years for most homes, sooner after a remodel, a new-to-you home purchase, or if you've never had it done. If you can see dust buildup inside a supply vent, it's time.
Will better filtration help with wildfire smoke?
Significantly. Smoke particles are exactly what high-efficiency media filters and whole-home purifiers are built to capture. The upgrade matters most here, where smoke season is now an annual event.
Do air quality upgrades hurt my HVAC's performance?
Done right, no. The mistake is jamming a super-dense filter into a system that wasn't designed for it, which strangles airflow. We match filtration to your system's blower so you get clean air and full performance.
What actually reduces dust in the house?
Three things working together: sealed ducts so you stop pulling crawl-space dust in, better filtration so what circulates gets caught, and source cleaning of the ducts themselves. We'll tell you which of the three your home actually needs.
Is duct cleaning included with a new system?
With our Signature-tier installations, yes, full duct cleaning is a standard inclusion. Putting a brand-new system on dirty ducts is like putting new tires on a bent axle.
What does duct cleaning cost in the Tri-Cities?
It depends on system size, vent count and access, so AllSet Home quotes a flat rate in writing before any work starts. You approve the number first, always.
Is duct cleaning worth the money?
Sometimes, and we will tell you when it is not. Skip it if your ducts are sealed and were cleaned recently; book it if you have never done it, just remodeled, or can see dust inside a supply vent.
What filter should I use for wildfire smoke season?
A high-efficiency media filter matched to your system's blower. Density matters, but so does airflow, so the right answer depends on your equipment, and we spec it to the system rather than selling the densest filter on the shelf.
How fast can you install an air quality upgrade?
Usually fast. Most filtration and purifier upgrades are single-visit jobs, and they often pair with a tune-up already on the calendar.
